After being awarded a Freight Facility Grant for £10m (16m USD) by Scottish Executive and Department of Trade and Industry, TDG in conjunction with Freightliner are going to carry out the alteration of their warehousing at Grangemouth so that an existing disused rail link can be brought back into service to connect with new sidings under a container crane.

The new facility is intended to be open access for all surrounding companies but it will initially be used to service an existing distribution contract for BP Amoco at their existing plant in Grangemouth.
